Ben is a Navy veteran of 20 years, including a diplomatic tour in Germany, a joint military tour in England, and nearly a dozen combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan while in a Special Operations unit. He is the father of five and understands the challenges families are facing as they try to secure a prosperous future for their children.

The son of an electrician and a nurse, he was raised with an appreciation for the trades, skilled craftsmanship, education, and personal determination. These principles have aided him in leading units of 150-plus people from all backgrounds with integrity and humility.

Benjamin has been married to his wife, Gabrielle, for 15 years. After living both stateside and abroad, Ben and Gabrielle decided to settle in Waldo to raise their family in a community that shares their values of strong work ethic, faith, family, and always being there for neighbors. ​
