Statement: Representing Maine in Congress has been the honor of my lifetime, and I am running for re-election because our work is far from done — especially now. Maine deserves a leader who will fight for Maine workers and for boosting our economy, expanding health care and lowering drug prices, defending and expanding Social Security and Medicare, tackling the climate crisis, protecting a woman’s right to access reproductive care and keeping our communities safe from gun violence. We must lower prices for everyday Americans who are struggling to make ends meet, and we cannot rest until we restore and protect our fragile democracy.
