Statement: By going door-to-door in my district, I have found that people are exhausted by the animosity within the political system and the total disregard for opinions that do not completely support their ideology. I believe I can listen to people fairly and find creative suggestions so that we may forge a path forward that will benefit all of us in this state.
The new district 18 is extremely rural and as a result economically challenged. People in our 17 small towns are concerned about their basic needs. The state’s urban areas have their own set of concerns, but we should never forget that these rural parts of Maine are really the way life should be.
If I am elected to the Maine House of Representatives, I will work to ensure that Maine families in District 18 are given a fair chance to thrive. Companies that provide internet service should be encouraged to connect more Mainers. The cost of food and oil should not have to be a daily concern. I want to make sure that those in our community are not marginalized. I would be honored to be the voice of the many towns in District 18. I like to think that we have a unified cause. I hope you consider me with your vote in November.
